For Tanya + Geno it was love at first sight. These two first met in 2015 when they were each out one night with friends. Although Geno had eyes for Tanya, he couldn’t work up the courage to ask her out until a year later, They immediately hit it off and it wasn’t long before Geno had worked up the courage for an even bigger question.
Geno rented a private yacht out of Newport, and right there in the middle of the ocean, he popped the question! Both their families were watching from above and they couldn’t wait to celebrate! When it came time to plan the engagement photos they chose Forty Steps and 1st beach in Newport so as to have a mix of both formal and relaxed poses. Their red white and blue nautical tones for the first half of their session provided a dramatic contrast against the stunning Rhode Island water. The two affectionately snuggled and laughed through their session, which made them a dream for Trish Kemp Photography to photograph.
The wind blew romantically through the air, and as the sun set leaving them against a jewel-toned sky, the two popped a bottle of champagne in celebration. Between the iridescent skyline and the way they look at one another, and you couldn’t ask for a more perfect engagement session.
