We have been waiting a LONG TIME to share our big news with you… starting today, we are collecting applications for our 2019 Couple of the Year!
We are looking for couples who want to share their wedding planning journey with us and our readers. We want couples who are totally in love, are getting married in Rhode Island 2019, and who love social media and have an interest in documenting their planning journey with photos and brief journal entries.
It’s no secret that we love weddings, but we are taking it to a whole new level by following a real couple as they plan and execute their wedding! We want to share it all from choosing a dress to cake tastings and finding the perfect DJ and even choosing your honeymoon spot! We want to capture it all as the ultimate real-life blog series!
Requirements: You must be engaged and getting married in Rhode Island in 2019. You must have public social media channels and be willing to share your wedding planning process online in a public way with photos and digital journal entries. You must be willing to make bi-monthly journal entries documenting your wedding planning. You must be willing to occasionally allow The Newport Bride team to accompany you to wedding planning appointments to capture the process.
Applications: We will be collecting applications starting today, August 13, 2018, and the application window will close on September 30, 2018, at 11pm EST. Once the application window has closed, we will notify all applicants of their stats and invite finalists to the next round of consideration.
The Series: The Couple of the Year is an ongoing blog post series featuring a real couple. This series will document the couple as they go through every step of the wedding planning process, using their insight and experience to educate The Newport Bride’s readers.
