Liz and Denis (Denny) met with an unusual meet-cute… while she was on a date with his cousin! As fate would have it, Liz and the cousin were better off as friends and that worked out just perfectly for Denny! The couple first started off after their mutual love of cars started an Instagram conversation about the Porche GT3 RS. Fittingly, their engagement photos in downtown Newport featured a stunning vintage vehicle! Continue reading
Justine and Brian braved the cold, sleet and wind for this gorgeous, romantic, and elegant engagement session at Blithewold Mansion. They made their way down to the ocean pier, the sprawling lawn leading up to the Mansion, the bamboo forest and the arboretum. These images are full of life and color, just like these soul mates. <3 Continue reading
For Tanya + Geno it was love at first sight. These two first met in 2015 when they were each out one night with friends. Although Geno had eyes for Tanya, he couldn’t work up the courage to ask her out until a year later, They immediately hit it off and it wasn’t long before Geno had worked up the courage for an even bigger question.
We are obsessed with vintage jewelry. The detailed line work, the unique array of colors and shapes; it’s all fun and fabulous. Over the past few years we have started following a few jewelry companies that specialize in vintage rings. One of our absolute favorites, Trumpet and Horn, both creates one-of-a-kind rings and helps heirloom vintage rings find new homes. We talked with their owner Kim and found out more about their AMAZING rings and where they get their inspiration.
Engagement photos are a great way to highlight a couples unique interests. Horses, your pet, your new home, wine, beer, the beach, there are thousands of things couples love that would make for great engagement photos! This winter we meet with Will and D Photography at Newport Storm Brewery and Newport Distilling Company and let love “brew”. Punny, right?
Since freshman year, these college sweethearts have been inseparable. Katie grew up on Aquidneck Island and Newport was one of her favorite spots. Tom proposed on the couples five-year anniversary at sunrise at Purgatory Chasm overlooking Second Beach. It was a chilly day in March, but with a beautifully clear sky and a gorgeous sunrise. The couple returned to the same spot for their engagement photos by Julia Elizabeth Photography. We love Katie and Tom’s e-sesh and can’t wait to see their wedding at Trinity Church & Blithewold Mansion this September!
If you’re anything like me, you’ve dreamed of frolicking through a field of flowers with your significant other in tow. If you’re like me, that’s never happened. My flower-loving dreams might not have come true, but Nicole and Craig’s did! Their engagement pictures were taken a field of blooming sunflowers!
