2015 was chalk full of beautiful things. From styled shoots and featured weddings, the year was a happy one. As 2016 begins we can’t help but look back and be thankful for an amazing 12 months. Here’s to 2016 and a look back at some of our favorite parts of 2015.
Boho Beauty: For this look we wanted something easy, slightly casual but still totally sexy. We nailed it. This dress works perfectly with the cathedral veil, the birdcage veil, and even the head wreath. Shot in Kay Chapel at Hotel Viking, the relaxed look was a great contrast to the structured space.
Mike and Monica: A Blithewold Wedding: Love at first sight made for the perfect happily every after for this beautiful couple. Their Blithewold wedding was colorful, fun, and had unique touches. From their patterned bridesmaids dresses to the bright bouquets, it was a perfect summer affair.
Ballerina Bride: Meet the lovely Leila. The second she saw this soft pink gown, she started squealing. The whole shoot, the crew was just giggling. With layers of pink tulle
Newport Wedding Magazine: Check out the last page of the 2016 Newport Wedding Magazine for an article written by yours truly!
Low-Backed Beauty: Another of the looks from our styled shoot at Hotel Viking, this gorgeous gown was a stunner from every angle. During the shoot hotel gusts couldn’t help but stop and comment on the dramatic draping. Definitely one of the prettiest gowns we shot this year.
Julianna and Tyler: You might recognize them from the 2016 issue of Newport Wedding Magazine, this couples elegant Newport wedding was a family affair, even the brides husky made an appearance at the reception. Their sweet pictures are tops on our “don’t miss” list.
Playful and Plaid: This shoot at Fort Adams was a whole day affair, with bridesmaids, a groomsman, and a sweet couple. Showing that getting married in a centuries old fort doesn’t have to be stuffy, these pictures are a rustic fairy tale dream come true.
