Courtney and Jeff’s Castle Hill Inn Wedding
A light breeze was coming off the ocean and the sky was a deep blue. It was the perfect day for an oceanside wedding! Now add a beautiful couple like Courtney and Jeff and the Castle Hill Inn and all were speechless with the gorgeous sites of the day. Courtney and Jeff are so obviously in love. They incorporated many special and personal touches into their wedding day like small pieces such as Courtney wearing the same headpiece that her mother wore on her wedding day, as well as big things like having Thorr, the Athletic Director at University of Rhode Island officiate their ceremony. Plus, they surprised guests by having “Rhody” the URI mascot showed up at the end of the night to hit the dance floor! Photographer Tricia McCormack Photography captured the whole thing! Cassie and Brandon’s Castle Hill Inn Wedding
Brandon and Cassie were high school sweethearts. Together through high school and college, after 8 years, Brandon surprised Cassie with a picnic dinner on Newport beach followed by a proposal. The engagement set the tone and the couple knew they wanted to get married in Newport it was just a matter of where. Sadly, during the wedding planning process Brandon’s father unexpectedly passed away. The Father-of-the-groom had visited one venue, Castle Hill Inn, and his presence at the venue sealed the deal. Cassie and Brandon’s Navy and Gold wedding was one the grooms father surely would have been proud of. Every detail was an elegant reflection of the couple and what they love. From a cigar station, ice cream and desert bar, and even tree sapling favors, this wedding was a detailed dream. Many thanks to Jennifer Neves Photography for capturing Cassie and Brandon’s big day and VideobyJamie for capturing the memories in a wedding day video.
Holly and Mike’s Castle Hill Inn Wedding
Mike proposed on Halloween with a specially carved pumpkin that said “Will You Marry Me?” Their couples costume of ‘Thing 1’ and ‘Thing 2’ quickly changed into a “This guy loves his fiance” shirt”. Holly and Mike’s first date was at the Red Parrots restaurant in Newport. When it came time to look for venues, the happy memories of their first dinner together came rushing back and a seaside Rhode Island wedding was a sure thing. After just one visit, it became clear that Castle Hill Inn was their perfect venue. Continue reading
Stephanie and Nicholas’s Glamorous Metallic Belle Mer Wedding
“Nicholas and I started dating in the Fall of 2012. We both lived in South Boston and worked in the city. From the beginning, we realized we wanted the same things out of life and became inseparable almost immediately. By Spring of 2015 (May 9, 2015 to be exact), Nick proposed! He booked a trip to Chicago, IL – one of our absolute favorite cities, and proposed on an early morning walk around Navy Pier. It was the most perfect moment of my life. Now, we’re going on 5 years together, a little over 5 months married, and each day we are stronger than the day before. Continue reading
Keri and Mike’s Nautical Fall Wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum
Nautical isn’t just a theme for summer weddings. About Time Photography captured Keri and Mike’s October nautical themed wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum. This beautiful wedding is proof that nautical is an evergreen theme! Our favorite part is the wooden bench guest book. Guests got to sign a piece of furniture that will be in the couples house forever. What a great idea!
Amanda and Michael’s Winter Blush and Teal Atlantic Resort Wedding
Amanda and Michael’s wedding at the brand new Atlantic Resort Newport stunned us from the moment we saw it. From their ceremony at the beautiful Greek Orthodox Church Saint Spyridon to their blast of a reception at the new Atlantic Resort Newport, they day was just perfect. The bride and groom got ready at the Newport Marriott and took pictures outside by the harbor. Ocean pictures are always a good idea as far as we are concerned. We well in love with Amanda and Michael’s wedding pictures and it was hard, but we broke it down to our 5 favorite parts of their big day…

Katelyn and Chris’s Glamorous Regatta Place Wedding
Chris and Katelyn first met when Chris, an RA, checked Katelyn out of her room after sophomore year of college. However, sparks didn’t fly until a year later when Chris returned from his study abroad program in Belgium and began regularly hanging out with Katelyn’s friend group. Katelyn will tell you that she was the one that made the first move when he returned, but Chris knows the truth – having already decided while abroad that he would date Katelyn upon his return.
