4 Tips for a Better Bridal Show Experience

As bridal professionals, we’ve been to more than our fair share of bridal shows. Some big, some small, we’ve seen it all and we want to share our tips for success with you!

  1. Enter every giveaway! Most bridal shows offer great giveaways! From photography and transportation packages, to free wedding bands and sometimes even honeymoons, there’s a giveaway for everyone! Increase your odds of winning by entering every giveaway.
  2. Come prepared with questions. Bridal shows aren’t just about giveaways and checking off items on your wedding to-do list. It’s a great opportunity for you to meet with a bunch of vendors back and back. Come ready with questions for the vendors you need to select.
  3. Know what you’re looking for. Go in with a clear idea of what you are looking to get out of the bridal show. Are you looking to sign a specific type of vendor, like a photographer, DJ, baker, or decorator? Are you looking to win something? Are you just looking to get some ideas and have fun? Going in with a goal will help you do what you came to do and be satisfied with the results!
  4. Take a friend. Bridal shows are exciting and it’s so much more fun to share the good times with someone. Bring along your mom, mother-in-law, or bridesmaids for more help entering giveaways and someone to share the experience with.

Speaking of upcoming bridal shows, we are beyond excited for the Newport Wedding Expo on February 18th. If you’re not in the New England area, never fear! There are bridal shows everywhere! In Las Vegas there’s a super show called the Bridal Spectacular. Why not look at some flight and hotel packages and make a fun trip out of it too! There’s also a bunch of big ones in New York and Texas. All you’ve got to do is google your area and bridal show and you’re sure to come up with something!
