Lauren + Ricky’s Belle Mer Wedding

Ricky and Lauren had the day of their dreams this past July 23, 2022. After 7 years of dating meeting during their senior year at Roger Williams University, they got married surrounded by family and friends.

Newport, RI means a lot the couple as they each spent time in town visiting during and after college. Right after Ricky proposed, they knew that Newport was where their wedding weekend was meant to take place, giving their guests an excuse to visit the city during the most beautiful time of year. With both his and her families being from different states, their wedding was the first time everyone got to meet in the best place to visit.

When they choose their venue, Lauren and Ricky dreamed of the famous “Belle Mer sunset,” and that’s exactly what they got! Just peak their sunset photos and get ready to be wowed! As an extra surprise, their wedding weekend was the same weekend as the Newport Folk Festival, and their guest got an unexpected but welcomed performance by Paul Simon. The guests were very impressed!

One of the highlights of the night was Ricky’s wedding gift to me: a live painting of our first dance painted by Alfredo Carlson. It’s a piece of art I will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life and will pass down to our future children.

Tatiana & Jonathan’s Fall Wedding at Belle Mer

Tatiana and Jonathan wanted their wedding to be a refreshing get away from their busy lives in Chicago and Philadelphia. Newport was the perfect choice with relaxed elegant beach venues and views that instantly make guests relaxed. They also incorporated a few Jewish traditions into their special day like signing the Ketubah. This moment happened just before the ceremony and provided a special personal moment to share with our their family and friends present. We were married under a Chuppah, a Jewish wedding canopy, which was covered with the bride’s late grandfather’s tallit (a Jewish prayer shawl) and used Tatiana’s grandmother’s sterling silver Kiddush cup to share their first sip of wine.

Julia and Peter’s Modern Silver and Blush Belle Mer Wedding

Julia and Peter grew up in the same town, Easton, MA. They were first introduced in May 2014 and since the moment they met, they have spent every day together (but seriously). As is often the case, Newport provided the perfect near by weekend escape for the couple while they were dating and our little city by the sea was their first choice when it came time to choose a wedding venue. Making their wedding a full weekend of events only served to extend the joyous events. Kristin and Derek’s Glittering Belle Mer Wedding

Kristin and Derek’s vision of a romantic old hollywood glamour wedding came to life in Belle Mer’s Water Salon. Captured by Jaclyn L Photography, this elegant wedding combined glittering golds and crisp whites for a timeless feel. With her Monique L’Huillier gown with a delicate lace bodice and full trumpet skirt, killer Jimmy Choo – Lana shoes, hair and makeup from Phillip DePalma Salon Hair, and a pure white orchid bouquet from Blooms of Boston, Kristen was a stunning bride from head to toe. Her maids in gold Adrianna Papell gowns set the tone for what was to be a glitz and glam affair. The groom wore a white diner jacket pipped in black and looked oh so dapper. To finish off what looks to be a killer dance party, the couple even brought in Boston Cigar Factory for hand rolled cigars.
