On May 12, 2018, college sweethearts Amanda and Ryan said “I Do” surrounded by family and friends at Castle Hill Inn. As soon as they got engaged, the couple started venue shopping and it wasn’t long before they knew they wanted to get married in the city that is near to their heart, Newport, Rhode Island. When narrowing down their choices to sea-side venues, their choice became clear! Continue reading
Drawing inspiration from their sea-side garden venue, Katie and Tom wanted their wedding day to feel every bit as special as their love story. Their wedding day was just that and more with whimsical touches, romantic vibes, and a classic elegance well suited to the mansion that served as a backdrop for their first dance.
Olivia and Zach’s wedding was a true fairytale. The bride’s Ines Di Santo gown with a massive train stole the show, and rightly so! Her grand entrance to one of the nations oldest churches, Trinity Church, was just the beginning of the night’s bold statement. The reception was held at Rosecliff Mansion, a 1920’s white stone mansion on the famed Bellevue Avenue. It was a true party with 200 people dancing the night away. The day’s huge thunderstorm only served to make the mansion feel cozy and romantic, all lit up with candles and filled with white roses as captured by photographer Benedicte Verley Photography. The night winded down with sparkling gold fireworks overlooking the ocean out on the back lawn, a festive way to finish a joyous evening!
Katie and Dan started as co-workers. Their friendship grew into a romance and eventually, they found themselves planning their wedding! Their day started in Newport with a seaside first look then they moved over the bridge to the historic Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, Rhode Island for the ceremony and reception. Stunning fresh florals from Fresh Foraged Design added rich jewel tones to their wedding. Rachel Girouard Photography captured the big day from the moment New Leaf Weddings arrived to beautify the ladies until when the beautiful Isis Cakes creation was cut by the newly married couple. Congrats to Katie and Dan and thanks for submitting your wedding!
Ashley and John’s vintage styled glitter and gold seaside wedding at the Glen Manor House in Portsmouth, RI was a wedding photographer’s dream for so many reasons! Bride Ashley’s custom Lindee Daniel dress that looked like something out of a fairytale, a French Chateau style venue overlooking the Sakonnet River, and glitter and gold everywhere! But there was one thing about this wedding that would’ve had all documentary photographers swooning… the light. Natural, sun-drenched light is what we live for, and this wedding was overflowing with it! Combined with Ashley and John’s constant smiling, these wedding photos look more like something out of an Anthropologie catalog, and we’re okay with that. Continue reading

A true collaboration of their styles, their big day combined a bit of old school charm with some modern day flair. Megan and James’s wedding venue has quite literally, movie worthy. Their gilded age mansion venue, Rosecliff Mansion, has made appearances in many hollywood films such as the original The Great Gatsby and True Lies.
