Larisa and Captain Murphy Bright’s Glen Manor House wedding is the perfect way to kick off our Fourth of July holiday week. From cutting the cake with a saber to the cutest four-legged gift from the bride to the groom (a bulldog puppy named Bone Digger) this Marine and his wife’s wedding was our summer dream!
Larisa and Murphy’s destination wedding brought friends and family from New York out to the smallest (and in our opinion, best) state for a celebration of life and love. They were married at Channing Memorial Church in Newport followed by a grand reception at Glen Manor House. The couple exited the church to the melody of a bagpiper and a sabre arch comprised of the groom’s friends from the Marines. Immediately following the service the wedding guests were treated to local novelty, Del’s Lemonade as they boarded buses and toured the stunning Ocean Drive on their way to the reception.
Once guests arrived at the venue, they were greeted by stunning florals, ocean views, a gorgeous cake (with a personalized wedding topper), live music, drinks and a hora. You can be sure this is an event everyone will remember!
