Whether your heart connects most to children, pets, or vets, Rhode Island has plenty of meaningful organizations that are making an impact on the community. Take a moment away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and give back to the organizations that support our communities!
Based in Middletown, RI just a few miles from downtown Newport, The Potter League for Animals is the heart of the humane community in Newport and in partnership with that community, the Potter League for Animals is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals. They promote the humane treatment of all animals and provide shelter and care for lost or unwanted companion animals. Through education, commitment to a standard of excellence in the care of animals, and fostering relationships between people and animals, they enhance the animals’ lives and enrich the human experience. We worked on a photoshoot with the Potter League earlier this year and just fell in love with their compassionate staff and of course, the sweet animals who needed a new home! Learn about the ways you can support the Potter League here and get involved with some 2 or 4-legged friends!
