Chelsea and Nick were one of those couples that were best friends above all. They didn’t break a sweat when their wedding day called for a downpour. As the storm clouds rolled in over the ocean and the torrential downpour begin about an hour before I do’s they literally smiled in spire of the rain. After all, what’s a little water when you’re marrying the love of your life?
A light breeze was coming off the ocean and the sky was a deep blue. It was the perfect day for an oceanside wedding! Now add a beautiful couple like Courtney and Jeff and the Castle Hill Inn and all were speechless with the gorgeous sites of the day. Courtney and Jeff are so obviously in love. They incorporated many special and personal touches into their wedding day like small pieces such as Courtney wearing the same headpiece that her mother wore on her wedding day, as well as big things like having Thorr, the Athletic Director at University of Rhode Island officiate their ceremony. Two New Yorkers, Kaitlyn and Adam, made their way to Newport for their Fort Adams Wedding. A true collaboration of their styles, their big day combined a bit of old school charm with some modern day flair. From their dog Sadie being their “flower girl” and fireworks being set off across the water from Fort Adams (which was a total coincidence) that made their reception totally unique. Julia and Peter grew up in the same town, Easton, MA. They were first introduced in May 2014 and since the moment they met, they have spent every day together (but seriously). As is often the case, Newport provided the perfect near by weekend escape for the couple while they were dating and our little city by the sea was their first choice when it came time to choose a wedding venue. Making their wedding a full weekend of events only served to extend the joyous events. From Thursday’s sunset sail and house party, to Friday’s rehearsal dinner at Castle Hill Inn, and Saturday’s sea front nuptials at Belle Mer, the weekend was jam packed of wedding fun!
Megan and James’s wedding venue has quite literally, movie worthy. Their gilded age mansion venue, Rosecliff Mansion, has made appearances in many hollywood films such as the original The Great Gatsby and True Lies. This palatial “summer cottage” originally owned by silver heiress Theresa Fair Oelrichs also made a stunning backdrop for this sweet couples romantic wedding. Erica Trombetti from Infinite Events, LLC and Ready Luck Photography helped this couples vision come to life in an event worthy of the magnificent space and sweeping ocean views.
Maura and Doug’s Castle Hill Inn Wedding was a nautical dream. Alongside the cliffside coast of Newport, roamed a bridal party in a shade of sea glass accented with coral bouquets of garden roses. The reception was styled with aqua seahorses and nautical knots as prominent themes. As the sun was just setting the happy couple two ran off for a second round of bride and groom portraits (photographer Kylie Lynn’s dream) and the resulting pictures are priceless. Continue reading

Brandon and Cassie were high school sweethearts. Together through high school and college, after 8 years, Brandon surprised Cassie with a picnic dinner on Newport beach followed by a proposal. The engagement set the tone and the couple knew they wanted to get married in Newport it was just a matter of where. Sadly, during the wedding planning process Brandon’s father unexpectedly passed away. The Father-of-the-groom had visited one venue, Castle Hill Inn, and his presence at the venue sealed the deal. Cassie and Brandon’s Navy and Gold wedding was one the grooms father surely would have been proud of. Every detail was an elegant reflection of the couple and what they love. From a cigar station, ice cream and desert bar, and even tree sapling favors, this wedding was a detailed dream. Kate & Tyrone’s first date was a New England classic sport, candlepin bowling. The couple bonded over their love for travel, music and animals. Their whirlwind romance included trips to Puerto Rico, France, the Bahamas, Turkey and Dubai. Kristin and Derek’s vision of a romantic old hollywood glamour wedding came to life in Belle Mer’s Water Salon. Captured by Jaclyn L Photography, this elegant wedding combined glittering golds and crisp whites for a timeless feel. With her Monique L’Huillier gown with a delicate lace bodice and full trumpet skirt, killer Jimmy Choo – Lana shoes, hair and makeup from Phillip DePalma Salon Hair, and a pure white orchid bouquet from Blooms of Boston, Kristen was a stunning bride from head to toe. Her maids in gold Adrianna Papell gowns set the tone for what was to be a glitz and glam affair. The groom wore a white diner jacket pipped in black and looked oh so dapper. To finish off what looks to be a killer dance party, the couple even brought in Boston Cigar Factory for hand rolled cigars.
