Our Couple of the Year Jacqueline and Jared are getting married in just 64 days!! While the final planning is happening, it’s time to look back at when Jacquline found her dream dress, in a totally unexpected way!
We. Love. Wedding Dresses. All shapes, all colors, we love them! There’s nothing more beautiful than watching a bride-to-be put on a gown and instantly transform into a radiant confident goddess. If only we could wear wedding dresses all the time, right?! We chatted with one of our favorite American bridal brands, Cicada Bridal. Co-owner, Jennifer was gracious enough to share some of her time with us and we learned so much about one of our favorite brands!
One of the best parts of being a bride (other than marrying the love of your life of course) is all the great outfits! With the bridal shower, bachelorette party, engagement party, and all the other fun events, a girls gotta get a whole closet of little white dresses. Never fear, we’ve put together the best of the best for our fashion loving brides.
I call this dress the snow queen dress. Covered from head to toe in beaded lace (yes that’s lace with tens of thousands of beads sewn overtop) tulle and everything that sparkles, this dress is fit for the snow queen herself. Not the girl with a heart like ice but the girl that wants to impress her guests and knows how to do it. When pared with this one-of-a-kind Pricilla of Boston faux fur coat, this dress goes from WOW to HOLY SMOKES! Would you wear this crystal beaded stunner? Tell us why or why not in the comments!
Meet the lovely Joanna. She is rocking this sexy boho lace gown. For this look we wanted something easy, slightly casual but still totally sexy. I think we nailed it. This dress works perfectly with the cathedral veil, the birdcage veil, and even the headdress. It’s magical! Everything works, everything looks good. Would you rock this lace curve hugger? Why or why not?
New York based designer Leanne Marshall, created the Fontaine Top, a 3/4 sleeve sheer embroidered with beads top, designed to go over a strapless gown. Each piece is hand made and is available for customization.
This sheer top slips right over your existing gown adding pizzaz to a plain piece. With the handy buttons on the back, you can take it on or off as you please. Where was this when I was shopping for my gown!
