21 To Die-For White on White Bouquets

Many, maybe even most brides choose colored bouquets. The color pops against the white dress and allow the bride to pull her theme color. Sometimes white bouquets get overlooked as boring or plain. These bouquets prove that white is anything but boring. The beautiful texture and variety is simple and elegant. If you can’t decide which color is right for your bouquet, maybe the answer is no color at all!

How to Decorate your Ceremony Space on a Budget

Couples often feel overwhelmed when it comes to decorating the ceremony space. It can sometimes feel like a waste of money to decorate a space you’ll only use for an hour at most. Never fear, there are plenty of beautiful ways you can decorate your ceremony space and still stay on budget. These tips show how some of our favorite ceremony tips can make a big impact for guest without making a big impact on the checkbook.

Focus on where it counts. Instead of decorating every chair, do the chairs on the aisle.

Keep it simple and let the space speak for itself. After all, guests are there to see you!

Focus on the aisle as the focal point.

Instead of costly flowers, us a cost effective bud like baby’s breath.

Try forsaking the flowers all together! Try these fun and playful

If florals and aisles aren’t your decor of choice, try something… lighter that’s sure to bloc no one’s view.

On the high fling note, try something up up and out of the way! These draping designs makes quite a statement while staying simple and elegant.

What about a monogram or sign? Simple, easy, and something you can use again!

Make the decor something you can use again whether in the reception space maybe as a centerpiece, or at home as a special decoration.

Above all, remember to have fun and enjoy being married. It’s your wedding day! 🙂

Art Deco Gatsby Wedding

Think of the Gatsby ultimate’s party. There’s sparking lights, beaded dresses and  fancy suits, and lots and lots of champaign. Sounds like the perfect wedding, right?

Roaring 20s weddings are all the rage. It’s fun, it’s vintage, and it lets everyone feel like they’re playing dress up for a day. The original Great Gatsby movie (1974) was shot in part at Marble House and Rosecliff right here in Newport. These turn of the century “summer cottages” are glamorous and totally movie worthy. 115 years later, they’re definitely wedding worthy. A Gatsby themed wedding combines all the glamour and grace with a rocking party and great clothes. What more could a bride, or her guests, want!

Maids in Mismatch

A bride spends her whole life trying to find the perfect dress. Little girls dream of princess gowns and finding the dress that makes them feel like cinderella at the ball. On the big day, she’s supposed to feel like a million bucks, Why not give your bridesmaids the same “million bucks” feeling by letting them choose their dress? Give them some direction, a color scheme, an overall look, a length, give them something  to work off of and let have at it! The happiest bridesmaids are the prettiest bridesmaids, and the prettiest maids are the ones who are comfortable and confident!
