Keri and Mike’s Nautical Fall Wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum
Nautical isn’t just a theme for summer weddings. About Time Photography captured Keri and Mike’s October nautical themed wedding at the Herreshoff Marine Museum. This beautiful wedding is proof that nautical is an evergreen theme! Our favorite part is the wooden bench guest book. Guests got to sign a piece of furniture that will be in the couples house forever. What a great idea!
Katelyn and Chris’s Glamorous Regatta Place Wedding
Chris and Katelyn first met when Chris, an RA, checked Katelyn out of her room after sophomore year of college. However, sparks didn’t fly until a year later when Chris returned from his study abroad program in Belgium and began regularly hanging out with Katelyn’s friend group. Katelyn will tell you that she was the one that made the first move when he returned, but Chris knows the truth – having already decided while abroad that he would date Katelyn upon his return.
Maria and Andrew – Rose Island Lighthouse
Maria, a sailing instructor at the Great Harbor Yacht Club, and Andrew, the captain of Spartan a Herreshoff NY50, were enjoying a beautiful summer in Nantucket when they first caught a glimpse of each other. One sunny day Maria asked her boss at the Great Harbor Yacht Club in Nantucket who the cute guy was who was always walking around the docks and lawn of the club. Her boss dramatically replied, “Ohh, Andrew?! He has a huge crush on you!!” Thanks to the helpful interference of friends and co-workers, Andrew got Maria’s number and called her A.S.A.P. to ask for a date a few nights later. On July 21, 2011 at Slip 14, Maria and Andrew had their first date. <3
