Paige and Stephen are a true Disney couple match made in heaven. They both have a love for everything Disney and incorporated it into little nods throughout their classic wedding. No over the top Black, White and Red Mickey emblems here! You had to look closely in Paige’s bouquet for hidden crystal mickey’s and a few on their cake. They lit up the dance floor under a gorgeous Sperry Tent when they broke out in song – Love is an Open Door from Frozen! They truly finish each other’s sandwiches. Continue reading
On May 12, 2018, college sweethearts Amanda and Ryan said “I Do” surrounded by family and friends at Castle Hill Inn. As soon as they got engaged, the couple started venue shopping and it wasn’t long before they knew they wanted to get married in the city that is near to their heart, Newport, Rhode Island. When narrowing down their choices to sea-side venues, their choice became clear! Continue reading
Kristina and Kevin met as athletes in college. Both oldest children and athletes, these love birds have much in common. The details of their wedding were marked with a classic nautical elegance, lots of navy, pearl, nautical rope, raw bar, hydrangeas and sparkle!
A light breeze was coming off the ocean and the sky was a deep blue. It was the perfect day for an oceanside wedding! Now add a beautiful couple like Courtney and Jeff and the Castle Hill Inn and all were speechless with the gorgeous sites of the day. Courtney and Jeff are so obviously in love. They incorporated many special and personal touches into their wedding day like small pieces such as Courtney wearing the same headpiece that her mother wore on her wedding day, as well as big things like having Thorr, the Athletic Director at University of Rhode Island officiate their ceremony. Plus, they surprised guests by having “Rhody” the URI mascot showed up at the end of the night to hit the dance floor! Photographer Tricia McCormack Photography captured the whole thing! Maura and Doug’s Castle Hill Inn Wedding was a nautical dream. Alongside the cliffside coast of Newport, roamed a bridal party in a shade of sea glass accented with coral bouquets of garden roses. The reception was styled with aqua seahorses and nautical knots as prominent themes. As the sun was just setting the happy couple two ran off for a second round of bride and groom portraits (photographer Kylie Lynn’s dream) and the resulting pictures are priceless. Continue reading
Brandon and Cassie were high school sweethearts. Together through high school and college, after 8 years, Brandon surprised Cassie with a picnic dinner on Newport beach followed by a proposal. The engagement set the tone and the couple knew they wanted to get married in Newport it was just a matter of where. Sadly, during the wedding planning process Brandon’s father unexpectedly passed away. The Father-of-the-groom had visited one venue, Castle Hill Inn, and his presence at the venue sealed the deal. Cassie and Brandon’s Navy and Gold wedding was one the grooms father surely would have been proud of. Every detail was an elegant reflection of the couple and what they love. From a cigar station, ice cream and desert bar, and even tree sapling favors, this wedding was a detailed dream. Many thanks to Jennifer Neves Photography for capturing Cassie and Brandon’s big day and VideobyJamie for capturing the memories in a wedding day video.
Mike proposed on Halloween with a specially carved pumpkin that said “Will You Marry Me?” Their couples costume of ‘Thing 1’ and ‘Thing 2’ quickly changed into a “This guy loves his fiance” shirt”. Holly and Mike’s first date was at the Red Parrots restaurant in Newport. When it came time to look for venues, the happy memories of their first dinner together came rushing back and a seaside Rhode Island wedding was a sure thing. After just one visit, it became clear that Castle Hill Inn was their perfect venue. Continue reading
Julianne and Michael’s wedding was truly something of a fairy tale. Julianne wore a gown Cinderella would be jealous of their day was something Walt Disney himself couldn’t have imagined. Julianne looked like a princess about to marry her prince charming. The weather cold and rainy weather did nothing to dampen their spirits it only served to make their formal pictures all the more spectacular. Want to swoon, for real? Check out their first dance photos. They’re enough to make a girl run out and get the fluffiest ball gown they can find. The couple and both their sets of parents took dance lessons and to perfect their waltz. Again, the pictures by Joseph Laurin are proof, it’s pure magic!
