Styled Shoot Part 1: The Set Up
Last weekend we held our first styled shoot. Thank to the generous collaboration of some beautiful vendors, everything came together perfectly. What girl doesn’t want to play dress up in a gorgeous wedding dress?
We started the day with 3 models, 7 dresses, a dozen pairs of shoes, bouquets, and jewelry; the full shabang. After hours of dress changes and flying hairspray, we came away with 6 polished looks. Over the next few weeks we’re going to debut the outfits. There’s inspiration for every bride, something boho, something pink, something retro, something classic, some that are pure fun! Stay tuned and check back to see all the gorgeousness!

Friday Fav: Turn your bouquet into jewelry
It’s the morning after your wedding. You’re running off to the airport and you see the bouquet laying on the table. Is it worth keeping? What does anyone even do with their bouquet after the big day…
There are a few options. If you’ve got patience and a steady hand you can make a great shadow box with the dried stems. But, that’s a lot of work and time and effort. Or… You could have your blooms turned into beads. Yes, beads.
There are a few companies that can do the magic. My favorites are Bella Beads, Timeless Moments, and Memorial Beads. For each company, you send away a bouquet or a single bloom, and they can make anything from a single bead for a Pandora style bracelet, a whole necklace, a bracelet, earrings, rings, a charm, etc. What a fun way to re-use your special (expensive) wedding day flowers!
Red White and Blue Wedding
Is there anything better than the perfect 4th of July party? There’s great food, bright colors, sparkly decorations, and fireworks! Sounds like it would make a great wedding…
Why not have a 4th of July wedding! Friends and family often already have a 3 day weekend, everything is already decorated, there’s fireworks… if you love red white and blue, this is the weekend for you!
