Next week on May 6th fans will head to Churchill Downs attend the Kentucky Derby. A fun event and a great theme for a bridal shower, we’re all about the big hats, minty drinks, and fresh red roses. Here’s a little bridal shower inspiration just in time for Derby Day!
Catherine Threlkeld Photography captured our vision and brought it to life! Hotel Viking was gracious enough to let us use the Colonade Room for out set up. Newport Sweet Shoppe created horse shoe cookies that were beautiful and delicious. Julie Rose helped our models, Monica, Kristen, Claire, and Joanna look their best with fresh and natural hair and makeup. The adorable cake and cupcakes were created by Wingate’s Cake. The water color sign is by Oh Capri Studio and Harbor Stationary created the invitation suite, table number, and place card for the bride. The beautiful rental furniture, china, and flatware is by Uniquely Chic Vintage Rentals and the stunning lace cloth, the one that we want to keep forever and ever, is from D’Paulo Designs and Linens. The horse statue and fun hats are from Newport Style. We borrowed the horse ribbons from That Newport Show‘s Helena and her daughter.
